Welcome to the website of CUPE Local 2017, representing employees of Hospice Care Ottawa. Whether you are a new member or have been part of our Local for many years, we are pleased to have you here.
Your elected Executive Team works on behalf of the membership to protect and advance workplace rights, support members through workplace concerns, participate in collective bargaining, monitor the application of our Collective Agreement, and promote a safe, fair, and respectful workplace. We are committed to keeping members informed, engaged, and connected.
Our General Membership Meetings are held in a hybrid format, offering members the choice to attend either in person or via Zoom. While virtual participation is available, members are encouraged to attend in person whenever possible. Information regarding upcoming meeting dates, times, and locations will be posted here and shared by email.
